Nyack, Inc., and Nyaco, Inc., doing business as Nyack Shell, Kingvale Shell, and Donner Summit Gas, are committed to providing customers with quality products in a safe environment. Our priority is to support our colleagues, our customers and the communities where we work through these unprecedented times. Nyack and Nyaco have taken many steps to ensure the health and safety of the people we help power.
At Nyack and Nyaco fueling stations and general stores, we have been following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and the guidance of international and local health authorities.
For the public, we have business continuity plans in place at each of our locations to sustain our operations and supply chains, so that we can continue to provide vital fuel, food, supplies, services and products to customers, visitors, our community, and neighboring businesses.
For our team members and the pubic, we have installed protective barriers, distancing floor stickers and aisle safety barricades, plus supplied masks, gloves and sanitizing products to cashiers. We offer similar supplies to our customers.
All frequently touched surfaces, such as pumps, counter tops, door handles, dispensers, buttons on equipment and self-service food equipment are cleaned approximately every 30 minutes, and we have increased the frequency of cleaning the exterior equipment and doors at each of our stations.
For our team members, we have encouraged employees to take advantage of our sick leave program to stay at home if they have cold or flu-like symptoms or a fever. We assist those experiencing the psychological impact of the pandemic, and we provide online resources to help manage physical and mental well-being, including aid in arranging health care and vaccinations.
